Northey Island
Northey Island is small a island of 1.5 mile width in the estuary of the River Blackwater in Essex, UK. It is linked to the south bank of the river by a raised road to reach during low tide. The island is approximately 1 mile to the west of Osea Island and 1 mile to the east of Maldon, Essex. The causeway is available for 2 hours each on either end of high tide.
